Driven Ductile Piles

Coastal Caisson offers driven ductile piles of various sizes. These piles have a distinct advantage over timber piles in their speed of installation and the ability to be lengthened as necessary. This lengthening can be accomplished during the driving process allowing them to reach depths of 100 feet or more to reach the desired embedment and/or bearing layer. The ductile piles are sometimes filled with concrete, increasing the load carrying ability and allowing working loads as high as 150 tons. Additionally, the piles can have a bar placed inside the ductile pile and grouted in place to give the pile tension loading abilities. Typical structures for this system include residential projects, low to mid-rise buildings, warehouses, and Industrial plants. |
