Coastal Caisson Corp. was founded in 1972 and successfully operated out of Clearwater, Florida to serve the southeastern US deep foundation markets for many years. It recently relocated to its new expanded campus facilities in Odessa, just north of Tampa, Florida. Coastal Caisson Corp. provides deep foundation services for the construction industry, utilizing the most up to date equipment and installation techniques. Coastal Caisson Corp. became a wholly owned subsidiary of Bauer Spezialtiefbau GmbH in 1992. Bauer is a world renowned foundation contractor, designer and builder of the world’s finest foundation equipment.
Coastal Caisson Corp. provides all types of foundation solutions for the industrial, commercial, residential and governmental construction projects. Coastal Caisson Corp. offers its services primarily in the Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic States. Coastal Caisson Corp. installs Drilled Shafts, Drilled Displacement Piles, Augercast Piles, Driven Ductile Piles, CSV Soil Stabilization, Micro Piles, Cut-Off Walls, CSM elements, Sheetpiling, Tieback Anchors for Lateral Earth Support Systems and other Ground Improvement Techniques including Cutter Soil Mixed walls for Basement solutions in wet coastal areas and Storm Water management.
Coastal Caisson Corp. has registered professional engineers in-house who regularly review and perform design analysis to work closely with owners, engineers and general contractors to design-build and jointly develop the most suitable and cost effective foundation system for each project. Coastal Caisson Corp. actively works with many universities, various Departments of Transportation, other independent research agencies and many Geotechnical consulting engineers to develop exceptional quality control measures and state of the art methods of deep foundation construction including: Drilled Shafts, Auger Cast Piles, Displacement Piles, CSV and Ductile Piles.
